Designing for social media

During my time on the audience and strategy desk for the Columbia Missourian, I designed grid carousel posts and scripted and produced vertical videos. These posts helped reach and build new audiences for the newsroom, as well has help reach the newsroom’s audience growth goal of reaching 14,000 followers on Instagram.

Post Analytics:

  • 61,469 views, 600% higher than typical posts

    • 75.3% of post views came from non-followers.

  • 1,180 likes, 35 comments, 63 shares, 21 reposts, 164 saves

  • 837 profile visits and 739 external link taps

  • Gained 18 followers
